About Finely Tuned Ops
Small business owners lose hours every week to work that should run itself. Finely Tuned Ops finds it and builds the fix, with AI, automation, or something simpler.
Why We Started This
We spent our careers building the systems that let big companies move fast without losing control, the process, the judgment calls, the machinery most people never see. Small businesses need the same thing and almost never get it. They don't have 20 hours to figure out which AI tool fixes which problem while the technology changes weekly. They need someone who already knows, and who'll actually build it.
That's why we started Finely Tuned Ops. We look at how your business actually runs, cut the unnecessary steps, then build the fix ourselves, whichever way actually works.
Assess, Finely Tune, Automate. In that order. Automating a broken process just makes it break faster.
And we'll tell you when AI isn't the answer. Sometimes the fix is a spreadsheet and a 10-minute conversation. We're not here to sell you software.
40+ years of B2B SaaS and technical leadership between us.

LinkedInDanny's Why Small Business
I've spent my career doing this inside big companies. Now I do it for small businesses.
There are 36.2 million small businesses in the United States, 99.9% of every business in the country. 3.5 million of them are in Florida. Most are run by an owner who is also the operations department, the sales department, and the person answering the phone at 7pm. They don't have an operating system. They have a to-do list and no time.
AI could give those owners hours back every week. Almost none of them have 20 hours to work out which tool, in what order, for which problem, while the technology changes weekly.
They don't need another AI product. They need a translator.
Danny's Career
I've spent 15 years building the operating engine for product organizations, four times, from scratch.
At Samsung NEXT, Ultimate Software (now UKG), and Jawbone, I stood up product operations and program management functions that didn't exist before I got there: OKRs, PMOs, agile practices. The systems that let a fast-growing organization scale without losing speed or clarity.
Most recently at Contentsquare, as VP of Product Operations and Chief of Staff to the Chief Product Officer, I ran that engine for a global product org, owning the strategic cadence, the narrative, and the operational rigor that let a CPO lead at scale, along with the Product Operations, Product Research, and Product Data Analytics teams underneath it.
The pattern never changed. Walk into something that mostly works, find the manual step everybody quietly accepted, and rebuild it so it runs.
Danny's Outside Work
Outside of work I'm usually coaching my son's travel baseball team, on a Peloton, skiing, roasting coffee, or arguing about where to eat.

Gabe's Career
I've spent over a decade building the operating engine for product organizations, standing up the systems that let fast-growing teams scale without losing speed or clarity.
At UKG (through the Ultimate Software/Kronos merger) and at Elastic, I walked into environments with no operational framework and built one from scratch: delivery cadences, a tiered launch-review system still in use today, cross-functional planning models that didn't exist before I got there.
Most recently, I've led product operations for a global SaaS organization, owning the delivery accountability framework across 15+ product teams, redesigning an executive review cadence that saved 300 collective hours per session, and driving $687K in annual savings by decommissioning tooling nobody needed anymore. I also built our GenAI enablement from the ground up: trained the team, built AI agents for feasibility and launch readiness, and turned a use-case tracker into four live automations saving roughly 660 hours a year.
The instinct is always the same: find the process nobody questions anymore, and turn it into something that runs itself.
